In this update Ethereum Foundation has just twitted talks of testing for an official light client, Bitcoin has just had a bit of a regress in price and miners are up to vote in the mining pools! Will we fork? It’s up to us to move Ethereum’s future either way, after the recent DAO attack- voting helps keep Ethereum decentralized, so don’t forget to vote if you mine in a pool!

hey how do you vote on Nanopool?
My understanding is the Soft Fork will be implemented, which will prevent the "Hacker" from accessing his funds after the 27 day period, though this Hard Fork will be tricky and im not sure everybody is in agreement. what the Hard Fork will do is transfer the funds to another Child Dao which will only be used for withdrawls so the investors will access there tokens back. I don't agree with this, though we will see what happens.
